I had an amazing acupuncture session today! The practitioner was incredibly skilled, attentive, and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by Erica and the woman at the front desk and relaxed. They took the time to understand my concerns and tailored the treatment to my specific needs. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the session itself was both soothing and rejuvenating. I walked out feeling a noticeable reduction in pain. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking professional and effective acupuncture. I will definitely be back!

I hesitantly tried Acupuncture after struggling with chronic sinusitis for months. The best way to describe my experience is like breathing through a small straw then instantly able to take in a huge unrestricted breath. Erica is very calming and explained everything to me to ease my anxiety. Her office is clean, quiet, private, comfortable, and she really cares about helping her patients.

If I could give Erica more than 5 stars I would. I sought her help about 9 months ago for trigeminal nerve problems. I was in excruciating pain! After a few sessions, I started feeling much better and could even eat food without pain. I had gone to so many doctors without any relief. I certainly lived in fear that I would not recoup. Erica assured me I would and I did! Now I see her for another issue and receiving superb results. Cant say enough good things. Me and my wife really enjoyed the expirence. The room had relaxing soft music and was very peaceful. We got a couples room and enjoyed acupuncture, cupping and light therapy. Cupping relieved my pain considerably. Erica was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Words cannot begin to express the immense amount of gratitude I have for Dr Olstein. I have been suffering from horrible painful spasms on my right leg for bout two and a half months now. It had gotten to the point that I was scared to drive and embarrass to go out in public because the spams would come and go at anytime. The pain was so bad it would catch me off guard and sometimes I would scream. I went to see Dr Olstein and she provided a few treatments that consisted of Acupuncture , Cupping and Red Light and Heat Therapy. Right away I felt the tension relaxed on my leg. However, I left a little skeptical. The big test and surprise was when I drove the next day for 6 hours and didn’t experience a single spasm. The following day my husband and I went hiking and mining and I was able to move like I used to prior to my injury without any issues. The fact that I was so scared that I would end up suffering in pain for the rest of my life Dr Olstein treatment wiped away. I am eternally grateful to her. I recommend her to anyone who is suffering from any kind of pain or even illness to see her . You would be amazed.

I had at great experience at Dr. Olstein’s office. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. It was my first time doing acupuncture and wasn’t sure what to expect. I had a problem with my piriformis hip muscle and that lead to my sciatic nerve causing tingling and numbness in my lower leg and foot. After 8 visits to a chiropractor I was still having numbness and discomfort. I visited Dr Olstein and after the first visit I felt improvement. After the second visit I was convinced that acupuncture was real and after a third visit I even convinced my wife to go to get help with work related stress and insomnia. I had never tried acupuncture before. With a recent cancer diagnosis and the beginning of chemotherapy, I suddenly am dealing with neuropathy in my feet. A family friend who is also dealing my symptoms found that acupuncture provided relief. Dr. Olstein’s practice was listed with my insurance provider she was able to see me the next day. After two treatment sessions I have noticed a small improvement. I’m anxious to continue my treatments and finally get some relief.

I injured my low back lifting heavy boxes of floor tile. After 2 weeks of no improvement using conventional treatments I decided to try acupuncture. I contacted Erica Olstein and set up an appointment. Needless to say, after one treatment my back pain improved significantly. The second acupuncture treatment completely resolved my back pain. I can clearly see why Erica has the perfect 5⭐ star rating that she does. Ive only had one treatment so far & I already feel like Im getting my life back!Ive struggled with severe, debilitating TMJ disorder for the past decade. Anyone with TMJD knows how agonizing this pain is. I clench & grind my teeth at night, have cracked bite guard after bite guard, & have woken up every morning the last 10 years in severe pain. It normally takes 3-4 hours & a LOT of CBD and/or ibuprofen after waking up for my jaw to unlock & the pain to dissipate. The morning after my first treatment was the first morning in TEN years that I woke up feeling refreshed, with NO pain whatsoever & an UNLOCKED jaw! I am going on 2 days with no lockjaw or pain at the time of this review! I didnt believe this was even possible for me! Ive seen both a chiropractor 2x/weekly & a massage therapist every 2 weeks for years, but my jaw always inevitably locks up within hours after either visit. This feels way too good to be true!I was starting to feel hopeless about this horrendous pain & was sadly getting used to the idea of having to live with this pain forever- this truly gives me hope! Erica has such a gift for healing. I was provided with a soft blanket, calming music, & an Infrared heat lamp during my treatment, which put me in such relaxing a state of bliss that I fell asleep. Erica is incredibly warm, caring, & professional; I felt right at home as a new patient (did I mention she saw me same day, within hours of calling?! ☺️). Finally, I appreciate Ericas knowledge of Chinese medicines, as I prefer to heal my body naturally. Erica is wonderful. My muscles were, according to my chiropractor, in full protection mode. My back and hip were in such pain I couldnt sit stand or lay down without being in untenable pain and wasnt able to concentrate even enough for light admin or household chores. I was off work. Had never had acupuncture but it was suggested to me as a possibility. I got an appointment with someone near my home, who scheduled me for a week out. Erica was able to take me SAME DAY I called and each day thereafter for 4 days. After the 1st session I could stand. After the next I could lay down. After the 3rd I could sit and bend. Yes, Yes, and Yes! I was experiencing some severe tormenting low back pain due to a possible slipped disc. My lower vertebrae were definitely out of alignment causing me to be unable to bend, sit, lean, could barely walk, drive, couldn’t even dress myself. I receive a combination of therapies in a very clean and serene environment. The immediate improvement from the therapy I received was mind blowing. There was an immediate relief of the throbbing sharp pain and I was able to correct my posture. I was able to stand straight and walk a little bit better. Thank you so much Dr. Erica for going above and beyond the call for me bringing me in after hours to help me get out of excruciating pain. I was having problems with my lower back which caused pain from sciatica. A friend of mine told me about Erica at a better you health care. So I decided to go and see what acupuncture was all about. Ive never tried this before so I gave it a shot. I have to say Erica is very professional and she knows what shes doing. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that she was going to do. Ive gone twice now and I have to say my pain is actually going away. I was having a hard time bending over to tie my shoes and put my socks on it hurts so bad. But after these two sessions Im getting back to where I was before. I will continue to go because it is important for me to be able to do my job because Im on my feet all day long and it was very hard a few weeks ago. Now I am feeling a lot of relief. Lets start by saying I am 28 years old and have had 2 back surgeries. I have degenerative disk disease and some days I cant breathe without causing pain in my low back. Once again I threw my back out and had to go to the ER. One of the ER nurse practitioners recommended me to see Erica. I kind of shrugged it off and didnt want to go see one of those doctors. My surgeon says I might have to go back for surgery #3. I called Erica because I will do anything not to have another surgery. Figured why not. I hobbled in the door and was treated. Let me tell you I may have hobbled in but I walked out. Yes upright and walking. I have now gone 3 times and have another appointment coming. Its wild and weird that it works but it does. Its affordable, its flexible (I work until 5) and she still makes time. Did you hear me? She MAKES TIME for her patients. Where else are you going to get that? Erica you have a patient FOR EVERRRRR!

Im a stroke survivor and admittedly I was skeptical. However, after my first visit she made a believer out of me. The results were even better the next day than after the initial session. Today was my first time trying acupuncture. I am a believer! I went in for a headache and pain in my knee and I left with no pain. Erica and her staff are so nice and friendly. I was in so much pain from carpal tunnel. I could barely do tasks, drive or do my job. I tried so many different things and found acupuncture. She emailed me and text me information to explain what I was getting into and she also called and text me personally to see if I was keeping my scheduled session. And before the acupuncture session she informed me of what I was getting into to prep me and made me feel so relaxed and welcomed. Absolutely amazing experience! Erica is an absolute delight! The whole atmosphere is soothing and wonderful. I am visiting Ocala from Massachusetts and had my first treatment and before I left I rebooked right away. I have done acupuncture treatments up north for a long time, faithfully for many years. I have chronic migraines and fibromyalgia which can be quite debilitating and downright depressing to deal with. I have gone through some VERY traumatic events as of late and I am dealing with complex and intense grief. After my first session I feel very calm and relaxed and my whole mood has shifted. I am more aware of my breath and the fact that I was not aware that I was not consciously breathing. Its like the trauma has had me locked up and holding my breath while I am living my life everyday! Ive been experiencing major hip pain, I wanted to find an good acupuncturist in Ocala. As you walk in the door, a very calming atmosphere. Erica is helpful ( explaining everything) and has helped me with several issues. A friend recommended Erica to me several years ago…so happy she did.

I was skeptical that acupuncture would work for me but, after six consecutive sleepless nights due to arthritis pain, and prescribed meds doing nothing to help, I decided to give it a try. I called, hoping to get in ASAP and was offered an appointment the same day which, I eagerly accepted. Dr. Olstein asked some questions and told me that she was going to simultaneously use acupuncture, cupping and heat to relieve my pain. She applied the devices and asked me how the needles felt. I hadnt even realized shed used the needles yet. They are so fine I couldnt feel them being inserted. She left me in a comfortable position for, I dont know how long. Possibly 30 minutes. There was soft music playing and the lights were out. I dozed off, getting some of the sleep I desperately needed. When she returned and removed the cups and needles, I stood up and could tell that there was a noticeable reduction in my pain level. Id say 70% less. Im looking forward to my next treatment, 5 days from now. Im writing this review 10 hours after my treatment and the pain has not returned.Follow up... now 24 hours since my treatment. The pain is 90% gone now. The dogs and I will resume our customary evening walks.

My wonderful experience at A Better U Healthcare immediately began with my phone call for my first visit. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very friendly lady at the desk. The office is clean and I felt comfortable with the precautions in place. When Erica came to meet me I immediately felt her attentiveness and gentle style. As we sat to discuss my issues Erica was very focused and interactive. In her soft spoken calming way she made me feel very comfortable. Instantly I felt her gentleness and her healing energy. She made me feel like I had arrived (to the place and person who could finally help me.) The treatment room was very comfortable and calming. Erica made me feel like more (good and healing) was on the way. The following day I received a text as a followup to see how I was doing. I did feel better than when I had arrived the day before. Im looking forward to working with Erica in the following appointments. Very much recommended.

After suffering with chronic pain for years, I decided to give Acupuncture a try. I can honestly say that I am amazed at the relief Im experiencing after the first session. I feel more grounded and balanced. I have sensation in areas I havent felt in years. The whole experience was extremely relaxing. Thank you Erica for listening and helping me manage my pain. I’ve seen Erica a few times for severe pain and tension in my neck muscles. The first time I came in, she scheduled me minutes after I left a message for the same day (I’m a horse person… we don’t do appointments - the flexibility was AWESOME!). On top of that, I could hardly function when I went in there. For whatever reason my neck muscles were extremely tight and I had a hard time moving my head without significant pain. Within hours of my treatment this was 70% resolved. I went back the next morning and by end of day I was pretty well back to myself and pain free. I’ve tried a lot of acupuncturists in my lifetime and she’s by far at the top of my list. She cares, has flexible scheduling, is reasonably priced and beyond good at what she does.

10/10 would recommend. Dr. Olstein has this beautiful sunshine energy to her, she listened to my needs, applied the needles, with precision. I went into a deep meditation with the infrared lights and cupping tools on me, today I feel amazing, I was able to release whatever was holding in my shoulder. sherecommended a tea for my kidneys, I drank last night, sounds crazy but it already felt like it was working. Thank you Erica!!!

Erica is wonderful! My husband just had an appointment to be treated for severe back pain that was the result of a bad fall. He woke up the next day and his pain was almost gone. The care and treatment at A Better U Healthcare is excellent!

First acupuncture ever and it was amazing! Erica is super friendly and inviting. After just one session, I had the absolute best nap I have ever had. I can’t explain it. I’m more relaxed and actually have some energy for the first time in years. And the muscle tension and pain I’ve had for weeks is gone. I’m not saying all your problems will go away, but this is definitely an affordable option to give a shot. Forget massages, I can’t wait to go back!

It almost seems unnecessary for me to write any review, because my experience is the same as EVERYONE else who is fortunate enough to Erica work her magic. I was expecting it to be somewhat uncomfortable, as this was my first time getting acupuncture, but honestly it wasn’t at all painful and conversely it was the most relaxed I’ve been in months. 10/10 highly recommend!

I had my 1st session with Erica today for my lower back and a herniated disk. I found the her office staff very kind and professional. Erica was very nice and attentive for my injury in my back. Erica was very informative and her session rooms were very clean and calming. Erica answered all my questions and made me feel I have have known her all my life. I felt so at ease as I listened to soothing music and I think I even fell asleep. It was nice to have some time away from the pain in low back. When the session was done, Erica talked with me and suggested a tea, which taste very good. I would highly recommend Erica, and A better U healthcare.
