If they cared about their patients they would make themselves readily available and attempt to help people. Every time I call they direct me to a voicemail and never call me back. They put billing information in incorrectly multiple times and refuse to answer when called to correct it. Leaving you with a $500+ bill. I can’t even request a new prescription without going through a voicemail first. They’re the parts changers of the gynecology world. I say I have a problem and they throw a new medication on me. Extremely unprofessional and refuses to relate or talk to patients. And when you have a doctor you like, they inform you she isn’t really a doctor and switch you without you knowing.

I have seen Kerri Ellinger for years at the Center for Womens Health. I have never had a bad experience. I recently went to my scheduled appointment, the first since the business was taken over by Capital Womens Care, and had to wait easily 15 minutes to check on on the one kiosk they had available in the waiting room. It is not user friendly to those who are not use to technology and it asks a ridiculous number of questions that could certainly wait or would be better answered on paper. I stepped aside and rescheduled my appointment right then and there. On the day of my rescheduled appointment I received a call that the provider was ill - no big deal. Fast forward to this moment today - I have been on hold for 20 minutes with not even a person answering the call to ask what I am needing. Instead, it rings, they pick up and and place me right back on hold. This is actually my second round this morning as I was hung up on the first time around with a similar situation. What is happening in this office is awful. Patient care is no longer a priority here on the front lines.

Ive been here on some very last minute scheduling and they have always tried to be as attentive as possible. They work with you and doctors are personable, making you feel comfortable with any questions or concerns. Office is very up to date. This facility makes the trip more pleasant and something you can walk away from with positive thoughts, where many times these sort of appointments are nothing to look forward to.

I have recently decided that I will not be returning to this office. After being sent to the hospital for a test and being made to wait for 2 hours in the waiting room with nothing but a gown and my shoes on, only to find out my referral hadnt been sent. Although the appointment had been made a week prior they failed to send the necessary paperwork for me to be seen, so I then missed a whole afternoon of work because of this. After that incident I decided to try to give them a second chance, bad decision on my part. I was then placed on a medication that increased my risk of ovarian cysts forming and I was told should I feel any abdominal pain to call the office immediately. When I started feeling some discomfort and became concerned I did as I was told only to have to leave a message and be left waiting once more. I waited 3 weeks with no response, finally I reached out to the office manager who I asked me to come in that same day to which I agreed to go on my lunch break. I did exactly that being promised that my service would be expedited because of the long wait period with no return call. Needless to say I sat in the waiting room for an hour, with only an hour for lunch I angrily had to go to the desk to reschedule because I couldnt wait any longer. They then told me they didnt have anything open until the following week unless I wanted to come first thing the next morning which initially didnt work for me because it was the same time I had to be at work. Luckily my office manager agreed to let me go and get this resolved. I had the ultrasound and was told that the doctor would reach out to me that same afternoon with the results... this was months ago and I still have yet to receive any correspondence from this office. I believe they are well understaffed for the amount of patients they see. My situation is of a delicate nature and I am very disappointed with the level of care. The type of office this is they should have a comforting, and dependable reputation. No woman should be made to feel like they dont matter when it comes to their reproductive health. Im sure there are many that have been treated well however I was not one of them. I will give Rhonda credit, she was always on the ball when I was able to get through to her. By far one of the best employees they have.

Ive been here a couple of times a for emergencies as well as check ups. I am not really comfortable going to get my lower region checked (I believe I can speak for the majority of us) but I have been so surprised with my visits here.They created such an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel so much better. The staff is extremely friendly and so caring. The wait time is never more than 10mins and its never been crowded. Everyone is so polite and amazing. The office is exetremly well kept and organized. Everything is done in a reasonable time.The doctors Ive encountered have been nothing but nice and caring. They listen very well and answer any questions you may have. They care to explain it so that even someone with no medical knowledge (such as myself) understands. They go out and beyond to makeyou feel comfortable and to help you.I truly love going here as its taking one of my biggest fears to overcome making it a whole lot better.I want to thank the staff (especially the smiling receptionists) and the doctors for keeping this place so well kept and making coming to the doctors so much more comfortable.Ive moved out of the area but I am seriously considering a 2 1/2 hr drive just to go back here.

I have visited this office twice. The office is very clean indeed and they take last minute calls witch is great but once you are there you feel like they just want to take your money. If you don’t have insurance they are just rude and if you have they just recommend all kind of expensive tests to be able to change you for no reason. I had to visit another doctor somewhere else to find out it was a simple problem that was solved in 3 days with the right medicine. I really don’t think they are professional or knowledgeable.

I have had nothing but good experiences in this office. Dr. O has always been very professional and thorough. Advocating for womens health and going above and beyond including education on cancer prevention and genetic testing. NO ob/gyn here on the Eastern Shore , that i have experienced, has ever gone to the extent that Dr.O has. I applaud her and encourage everyone that has something to criticize her about to educate yourself. You may not think the topic is relevant or that you must wait too long however I challenge each of you to think about this. Would you rather have a provider to rush you in and out? Missing pertinent health issues or someone that is going to take time to listen, educate and cover all bases. I love Dr. O and I feel privileged to have a provider that you dont feel like a number being rushed in and out. More importantly, a doctor that cares enough about our health to take their time. I also want to add I have always gotten through to a live person when calling. Office Mgr. Was very helpful getting me enrolled in portal. Keep up the great work Dr. O and staff!!

The pa i had and the nursr was wonderful. Her name was Day. She was caring and understanding. Took the time to listen and explain everything. I have never been more comfortable with a gyn. She was just amazing not enough good words for her. The nurse was just as nice. They are wonderful. If you want a good experience give them a try you wont be sorry. Thanks again for the awesome care.

Very disappointed with the doctor. I didnt see my regular doctor but dr O. I went there with a specific problem and then they asked me to come back to do more tests with an ultrasound. Then the doctor never called me back with any results. So I called a month later. Took me 3 attempts to reach the doctor, then all she wanted to tak about was whether I was menopausal or not. Never once addressing the problem I was there for then still said she didnt know what was wrong with me. Very frustrating, then she tells me I should go to someone else because I was speaking in a frustrated tone with her. So disappointed and sad at the lack of caring, followup, and problem solving. A waste of time and alot of money in copays. Over 400 dollars and I see Im not the only one who thinks they need another doctor and better follow up response time.

The last time I was seen they never ran my insurance, then called me for the information, I never received an EOB, then I recieved a letter that I was being sued! What the heck! They changed management so many times......... Kerri Ellinger was the BEST!This office is very clean, staff is very professional! Kerri Ellinger rocks as a Provider! I love this place!

A little while ago someone tried taking my blood at this location & stuck me 3 times before I finally passed out, when I woke up she acted like it wasn’t even a big deal, gave me water. She obviously did not seem to confident in herself to even be taking my blood to begin with.. after going to this location a couple times & despite my last visit I’ve been calling for weeks, trying to schedule an appointment & it goes to voicemail, I leave a message & never get a call back. Trying to contact someone in the office seems impossible.

THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND! they don’t take accountability. the doctors aren’t that busy where i’ve left messages for 3 weeks straight and haven’t gotten one phone call back. everytime i call it’s “one call ahead of you” then voicemail. do better.

Doctors are fine, but reception is a nightmare. Don’t recommend coming here if you actually want to be seen for your appointment. I’ve come 3 times and all 3 I’ve had issues with their reception not knowing what they’re doing, and the kicker is it’s been different people every time. Scheduling appointments elsewhere from now on.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. Dr Kerri Ellinger and the entire nursing staff were incredible helping me through an extremely difficult and traumatic time. I am so grateful for the level of care and concern they showed for me. I would highly recommend The Center for Women’s Health.

I would have given 5 stars but getting across to them over the phone is harder than pulling teeth! I have been trying to contact them for days now but no luck, unless you are trying to book an appt which i wasn’t. I hope the management will look into this & work on making things better.

This is most unprofessional office Ive ever dealt with. Long waiting, no one answers the phone when you call and so unorganized. I do not recommend to anyone!

I am so glad I read the reviews before trying to call again and make an appointment. I guess there really arent any good gynecologists on the Eastern Shore :(
